Caravelle share love with the community
Last Saturday 30 Jan 2010, Caravelle’s Management Board as well as Department Heads and 40 Caravelle and Vegas Club staff paid a visit to Thien Binh Orphanage (Long Thanh – Dong Nai). The charity trip made at the end of January with the purpose to bring a happy and prosperous Tet to the orphaned children and the elders by many gifts and lucky money.
Thien Binh Orphanage was built from 1968 to take care of the orphaned children, children with disease or poverty (from 2-week age up to 20 who will be sending for apprentice). At the present, the orphanage is taking care of 100 orphaned children and 30 disable elders.
With this visit, Caravelle gave presents and lucky money to all the children and the elder at this orphanage. Also, representatives of Chains Caravelle Hotel Joint Venture and Club Vegas presented the cash amount to the orphanage. Besides, Caravelle sponsored some daily necessaries such as: rice, sugar, cooking oil, washing powder, soaps, toothpaste, tooth brush, instant noodles, old clothes and toys. Total sponsor valued at 34 millions dong.
As Christmas 2009, representatives of Caravelle Hotel and Director of Human Resources paid an advance visit to this orphanage to give Christmas gifts and candies to all the children and the elders.
In near future, Caravelle Hotel and Club Vegas will continue their 2nd charity trip in year 2010, to Chanh Phu Hoa Orphanage (Binh Duong). The trip will be on 5 Feb 2010 with 1,400 gifts of cakes and fresh milk for all the elders, disable people and orphaned children here. Total sponsor value at 14 millions dong.
